Having lived with a smallish plastic bowl as our compost pail for over a year now, I thought anything with a handle and a lid would be an improvement.

This is a MAJOR improvement. Reasonably priced, takes up less space on the counter, does a fairly good job of containing the odors, is very easy to carry (through the 3 doors I have to open on my trip to the composter), holds more than a days worth of compostable items, and looks attractive enough on the counter top that even my dear mother allows as how she would have it at her house.

I know it is just a pail, with a lid, and a handle, but it is a pail that does what it says it will, and does it with class.

I decided on this stainless compost bin after reading reviews of other options. It is light weight, easy to carry to the compost bin, the handle looks to be well attached, is easy to clean and produces no smell. Couldn't ask for more! Just what I was looking for.
